Resumen de Attachment Tamer
Attachment Tamer te da control sobre el manejo de archivos adjuntos en Apple Mail. Corrige los errores más molestos de Apple Mail, asegura la compatibilidad con otros programas de correo electrónico y te permite configurar cómo se muestran y envían los archivos adjuntos.
Attachment Tamer puede:
- Mostrar (e imprimir) imágenes, PDFs, audio y video como íconos con un límite de tamaño de archivo opcional y excepciones;
- Enviar mensajes compatibles con Microsoft Outlook, Exchange y otros programas, evitando los superfluos archivos adjuntos "ATT0001";
- Enviar imágenes como archivos adjuntos regulares, facilitando al destinatario la manipulación de los archivos de imagen;
- Enviar imágenes incrustadas en un diseño HTML de manera segura, mezclando imágenes incrustadas con otros archivos adjuntos;
- Mostrar nombres completos de archivos adjuntos sin importar la longitud en lugar de nombres truncados;
- Prevenir el redimensionamiento no deseado de imágenes o establecer un tamaño predeterminado para el redimensionamiento automático de imágenes.
Attachment Tamer es una actualización gratuita para todos los usuarios registrados de Mail Attachments Iconizer, y proporciona toda la funcionalidad que Iconizer ha ofrecido.

Unfortunately it appears that this is now a dead product. No new releases, even to finish the beta for 10.9 much less for 10.10 Yosemite, and no posts to the developer's Twitter account in almost five months. Too bad, as this was a very useful add-on for Mail. I really wish developers would just admit it publicly when they stop developing a product rather than just disappearing.

I lost Attachment Tamer when I upgraded to Yosemite but am HAPPY to report that after downgrading back to 10.9.5, the Attachment Tamer 3.1.14b9 appears to be, thus far, function as a release version.

I am preparing a solution for handling attachments in current and future OS X releases, that would be up to the standard set by previous Attachment Tamer releases, in a partnership with well-known Mac developers. As the holiday season has slowed us down, I am going announce the more details early in the new year.

It won't work with Yosemite nearly two months after the initial relaese of Yosemite leaving alot of users high and dry and stranded!!!
