Aperçu de Attachment Tamer
Attachment Tamer vous donne le contrôle sur la gestion des pièces jointes dans Apple Mail. Il corrige les défauts les plus ennuyeux d'Apple Mail, garantit la compatibilité avec d'autres logiciels de messagerie et vous permet de configurer la façon dont les pièces jointes sont affichées et envoyées.
Attachment Tamer peut :
- Afficher (et imprimer) des images, des PDF, de l'audio et de la vidéo sous forme d'icônes avec une limite de taille de fichier optionnelle et des exceptions ;
- Envoyer des messages compatibles avec Microsoft Outlook, Exchange et d'autres logiciels, empêchant les pièces jointes superflues "ATT0001" ;
- Envoyer des images en tant que pièces jointes régulières, facilitant la manipulation des fichiers image par le destinataire ;
- Envoyer des images intégrées dans une mise en page HTML et en toute sécurité, mélanger des images intégrées avec d'autres pièces jointes ;
- Afficher les noms complets des pièces jointes, quelle que soit leur longueur, au lieu de noms tronqués ;
- Prévenir le redimensionnement indésirable des images ou définir une taille par défaut pour le redimensionnement automatique des images.
Attachment Tamer est une mise à jour gratuite pour tous les utilisateurs enregistrés de Mail Attachments Iconizer, et fournit toutes les fonctionnalités que l'Iconizer a fournies.

Unfortunately it appears that this is now a dead product. No new releases, even to finish the beta for 10.9 much less for 10.10 Yosemite, and no posts to the developer's Twitter account in almost five months. Too bad, as this was a very useful add-on for Mail. I really wish developers would just admit it publicly when they stop developing a product rather than just disappearing.

I lost Attachment Tamer when I upgraded to Yosemite but am HAPPY to report that after downgrading back to 10.9.5, the Attachment Tamer 3.1.14b9 appears to be, thus far, function as a release version.

I am preparing a solution for handling attachments in current and future OS X releases, that would be up to the standard set by previous Attachment Tamer releases, in a partnership with well-known Mac developers. It won't work with Yosemite nearly two months after the initial relaese of Yosemite leaving alot of users high and dry and stranded!!!
